subsidiaries located in over 20 countries worldwide and employs

million barrels of products every year to its customers.
Formed in 1997 to
develop a comprehensive independent network of oil products storage
and distribution facilities in Latin America, Puma has expanded its
original concept to other continents. In 2000 the Company came under the full
ownership and management of Trafigura Beheer BV, one of its original founding partners, and
began focusing on the need for infrastructure and reconstruction
within the downstream sector.
Puma Energy holds significant market shares within each of the
countries where it operates and provides a platform for independent
entrepreneurs to develop their businesses, by providing a viable
alternative to traditional market supply sources.
Puma’s success has been achieved by
working closely with local entrepreneurs, business communities,
financial organisations and government departments to help create
an environment where the independent market can grow.
